The Center For Excellence, Inc. was established in 2005 as a Before & After School Program geared towards assisting youth of all ages work on being successful in every field of their lives. CFE provided before & after school care for children in the Middle Tn area. Services provided were tutoring, mentoring and recreational therapy.
Center For Excellence, Inc. is now expanding its services to include a Group Home specializing in the care of individuals with unique special needs. The Group Home will provide around the clock care and supervision of the individuals housed in the home. The Group Home is located in an established neighborhood so the residents feel like they are actually a part of the community.

Cameron Jackson
Chief Executive Officer
Cameron Jackson is a native of Muskegon, MI. He received his Bachelors of Science from Middle Tennessee State University with a concentration in recreational therapy. He received his Masters of Education, Curriculum & Instruction from the University of Phoenix.
He is the founder of Center For Excellence which was established in 2005, and currently hold the office of Chief Executive Officer. Cameron has 20 years of experience helping and working with others. He currently resides in Brentwood, TN.
Arthur (Art) Taylor Jr.
Executive Director
Arthur (Art) Taylor, Jr is a native of Brownsville, TN. After graduating from Haywood
High School, he matriculated to Middle Tennessee State University where he received a
BS degree in Psychology, Special Education Certification, Masters of Education and
Ed.S degrees. He is also a licensed School Administrator.
Art is currently employed full time as the Executive Director position for Center For Excellence, Inc.
He and his lovely wife (Ellaina) have been married for over 20 years. They are also the very proud and blessed parents of two beautiful daughters (Kirstin and Rayna). The
family currently resides in Murfreesboro,TN.
La’ Tonja Jackson
Director of Programming and Business Development
La’ Tonja has worked as a volunteer for Center For Excellence, Inc. since 2011. Prior to becoming employed full-time with Center For Excellence, Inc. in December 2015 as Director of Programming and Business Development, she was employed with Professional Credential Service, Inc. for 11 years. She held various positions within the company for example, Customer Service Representative, Coordinator, Team Coordinator, and Assistant Manager in the CSA/Data Entry Department.
La’ Tonja received her Bachelor of Business Administration from Middle Tennessee State
University, Murfreesboro, Tennessee in 2002. She also received a Master of Business
Administration from the University of Phoenix in 2011.
